Computer aided analysis and redesign of a 320 feet high steel structure housing four huge coker bins. Since the upgrade had to be performed during the operation of the Coker a significant restriction was imposed on the sequences of engineering and construction. Many procedural steps had to be written and many temporary bracing’s had to be designed.
